You are thinking of buying an underfloor heating system, and have discovered that very few of the supply companies offer an efficient, easy to contact, fixed price installation service.

Where do you turn?

• Your plumber may not have fitted a UFH system before, so is reticent, or prices the installation with a contingency amount factored in because he / she doesn't know how long the pipe installation is likely to take.

• Your builder is happy to lay the pipes, but you are concerned that it may take too long because they have not fitted a system before, despite all their other work being to the highest standard.

M & K Underfloor Heating fills the gap, providing you with a fixed price, efficient, guaranteed service.

• You know we will be there on time, when you need us, because our nationwide coverage ensures we can handle the work.

• You know the costs because we quote fixed prices.

• You know fully trained, experienced people are doing the work.

When you receive your quote for the design and supply of the system from a manufacturer, forward a copy to us, and we will provide you with the fixed price for installing that system.

You will need to ensure that the preliminary works are undertaken such as laying standard insulation, and generally preparing the site. We will help you in this by providing you with a detailed checklist, and will liase with your chosen builder, architect, plumber, or project manager to make your life easier. We will also talk with your system supplier.

When we arrive on site, the first thing we do is familiarising ourselves with site Health and Safety, before checking that the preliminary works have been completed to an acceptable standard.

We then mark-out, install the manifolds, install the pipes, and pressure test the system, providing you with an installation certificate at the end of the work so you know the system has been installed correctly.

If they are available on-site we will familiarise your plumber and electrician with the system, and talk them through the suppliers instructions so they understand what they need to do to enable your system to be fully operational when your project is complete.

Important Note: System Commissioning

We do not currently offer a nationwide commissioning service, because our experience has shown us that if the system is correctly installed, it is a relatively simple process for your plumber to commission the UFH system, however if you need help we will be able to offer guidance.

If you do need your system commissioned by our experienced fitters, simply contact us and we can make arrangements for the necessary site visits and work to be completed to our usual high standards and at a pre-arranged fixed price.
